Crow's Nest Character Packs

I began this project by designing the characters for the animation. Originally, the animation was going to be centered around a burnt out artist finding inspiration again after befriending the local corvids. The birds would bring the artist random trinkets they found in exchange for food, and the artist would use these trinkets for inspiration. This ended up being too large of a scope for the time I had to animate though, so I instead created an animation that introduced the three corvid characters who would have helped the artist character in my original plan. Once I had developed a plan for the story and the characters involved, I drew up some motion paths for the birds to follow when flying or moving about their nest, and got to animating. This animation took approximately 2 weeks to complete. The end result is a 30 second animation about 3 crow-like creatures who hoard treasures.
